Quirky low ceilings: These cottages were built for people from a different era. If you're tall, be prepared to channel your inner Quasimodo. It's all part of the charm and we had a good laugh about it. Just watch your head and enjoy the unique experience!

The room at Eglantine was absolutely amazing! It had a cozy, homely feel with all the comforts I needed for my stay. I loved having a kitchen where I could whip up my own meals. The seating area was super comfy, perfect for lounging after a long day. And the terrace offered a breath of fresh air with a nice view. Plus, the flat-screen TV was a great way to unwind and catch up on my favorite shows.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the terrace. It just didn't appeal to me, but I can see how others might enjoy it.

The cottage itself was cozy, warm, and quiet, providing everything we needed for a comfortable self-catering stay. Cleanliness was also top-notch, with thorough sanitization measures in place for extra peace of mind. The host was also extremely responsive and helpful, making our experience even better.
While the cottage was overall very comfortable, we did feel that there could have been a few improvements. There were not enough towels and dinnerware/glasses, which meant we had to improvise while waiting for them to be cleaned.
